Description

Every discovery and invention starts with a question. From simulating supernovae, to growing food in our cities, to the enormity of tackling the emperor of all maladies, come see Berkeley Lab scientists dive into the big questions that drive their research.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 29th at Oakland's Kaiser Center Auditorium from 7-9 p.m. Scientists include:

  1. Judy Campisi - Cancer and aging
  2. Kai Vetter - Radiation and public safety
  3. Shashi Buluswar - Urban Food Intiative
  4. Javier Ceja-Navarro - Beetles, biofuels and coffee
  5. Ann Almgren - Simulating supernovae and combustion
